Biographical Info

Most of my Clayworks are made from leaves found at local woodland trails, gardens, and farmers market. The leaves are rolled onto clay slabs, trimmed and molded into specific forms. The leaves remain on the clay during the first bisque firing to retain every vein and ripple. No two pieces are alike -each piece is as individual as the leaf selected for the work.
