Description
The fluid nature of vibrant alcohol ink colors in my paintings calls to mind botanical, water and landscape subjects. Many of my paintings incorporate layer upon layer of inks building to a crescendo of textured compositions. There is a wonderful mix of delicacy and highly saturated color interwoven in my paintings. That is the magic of how I work with alcohol inks – to allow them to flow and then control the final placement. Several works evolve into mixed media as I add acrylic paint and fine liner pen details.
